MOST RESCUES DO NOT HAVE ORGANIZATIONS PAYING THE BILLS. THE RESCUE MUST RAISE THE MONEY.   

THEY DEPEND ON YOU

THE BUSINESS WHO SELL FOOD, THE VETS WHO FIX THE BROKEN STRAYS, EVEN THE PENSIONS WHO RENT A SPACE TO KEEP YOUR STRAY SAFE, THEY ALL KNOW THE RESCUES HAVE NO MONEY. SO WHAT DO THE BUSINESS DO?  

THEY GIVE CREDIT. BUT ONLY A LITTLE BIT... AND IT MUST BE PAID BY THE END OF THE MONTH...IF NOT -  WELL FORGET ABOUT GETTING ANYTHING ELSE.

THIS YEAR STARTED OFF BAD... ALL RESCUES ARE HAVING A HARD TIME RAISING MONEY...MOST RESCUES HAVE COME TO THE POINT OF OWING BIG BILLS AND NO WAY TO PAY THEM UNLESS YOU DONATE WHEN YOU THINK YOU CAN'T.

A LITTLE STORY ABOUT ME...I AM A SUCKER WHEN IT COMES TO HURT OR STARVING ANIMALS. I BORROW FROM LOAN COMPANIES THEN STRUGGLE PAYING IT BACK... I HAVE 3 LOANS RIGHT NOW

My dear friends, I am really getting more and more worried for
rescues and the shelter. Rescues can't get needed care if bills
aren't paid.

Also, it is almost half of the month and the annuity for propety
hasn't been paid for three month in a row.

We have achieved so much so please help my rescues and the

Dalida Kozlic needs about 3000 euros a month to pay all the bills this pension generates. 140 dogs was the last count I read. 

But just like your home there are maintenance bills, lights, food, water, get rid of garbage and dog poo.. Then any repairs that are needed. like the WALL needed to redirect the creeks flow in a different direction from the property fences....

 

But Dalida can not do this.....WHY...Because she needs your donations.. DONATIONS THAT ARE NOT BEING GIVEN AS FAITHFUL AS IS NEEDED. -MONTHLY!

If funds for pensions aren't raised, rescued animals face danger of being exposed to dog catchers, psychopaths, torture, poisoning, being shot, being held at illegal public shelters, starvation and many other dangers. Please take a look at pictures, when you can. All of them are looking for a forever home. Let's find forever homes for them.

The rescue center is on the site of an older property which is
being renovated for the dogs. The finished site includes a
secure building for the dogs to sleep at night and stay safe
during bad weather and a big yard for them to play in. 

 

 The shelter Usko's animals nest is definitely the most beautiful
place for rescued dogs in the area.

 

 

 

Our aim is to finish ambulance soon and to expand kennels and playing ground.

🐕410 m2, 2 floors object for kennels - 

It would be great to prepare the second floor of shelter building so more dogs can be rescued and placed the house for ambulance and quarantine - the first floor is ready
for fully capacity ambulance we need basic vet equipment and

I'm a bit late with this post because of a lot of personal stuff, but it's never too late 😊


I want to thank from the bottom of my heart my Monika and her husband and all of you for helping me raise money after I posted about the matching funds for the enormous debt I have for all the animals I helped...


The total amount for pensions (foster care) transport costs and vet costs was 6439e...that was for the accommodation and food for dogs for the month of September and for the cats for the month of August.... Also for the transport costs for the dogs that I didn't get a chance to raise the money.

I didn't want them to lose their chances for foster care away from Bosnia and I didn't want them to spend another winter in pensions... Also included here are the unpaid vet bills...

Thanks to the matching funds post we managed to raise 1700e and
Monika and her husband gave the same amount and we had in total 3400e
for this enormous debt I have...

All this debt is making me depressed and I just have no will anymore... Still I hope that a

One young Bosnian rescuer Dzanela died yesterday. She was only 26 years old, 3 years younger than me. ( Dzanela Lojo  Kladionica MIllennium,  

I didn't know her personally but the world has lost one good soul who despite her illness dedicated her life to helping others. 

Please take a moment and think about following... whenever you see my posts or posts of other rescuers that are completely desperate, 
Please know that we see desperation in a different way and that pressure kills us - pressure to protect animals that have suffered so much. 
We face pain, suffer, abuse and death every day and that has awful consequences on all of us, our health, our mind, our soul. 

  

Also, we are so grateful to all of you for helping us to make this world better place for animals and thank you for that. 

Honestly, things you see online can't be compared to what we see live every day so whenever this world loses a rescuer or a supporter, it means that more animals will suffer 💙🖤😥

Living in the fear... I have always been too serious for my age but I have never felt such need to express my worries and feelings as in the recent period of time.  I think a lot about rescuing and everything we, rescuers, do. 

I have learnt that animals in need and rescues have one main thing in common. That thing is FEAR. 

Stray animals have fear of being hungry, thirsty, injured, haunted, tortured and killed. They live in constant fear. Stray animals are exposed to unimaginable suffer. They can't find food or water, they are often sick, they can't get help they need, they don't have a safe place to hide from the bad weather, they don't have a safe place to sleep and they are chased by dog catchers and killers. 

Rescuers also live in constant fear. We all accept responsibility for lives of animals. We are faced with suffer every day, but also we fight with fear. When we save an animal we are under huge pressure to provide her everything she needs. First of all I am worried about the health condition of the saved animal, then my worry is to provide food for the animal and keep the shelter running. 

 Since I have a lot saved animals, I live in constant fear of diseases, injuries, loosing the shelter for saved animals because of money, veterinary bills.. we are under constant pressure to buy food, to find homes, to help other animals, to pay costs, to provide better care for animals, to find a good vet.. we are dealing with corrupted and stupid veterinary inspectors.. our lives are the way from one to another stress, but it is worth every saved life. 

We make the difference, we are the voice of voiceless. 

We have the best reasons to win the fear and those reasons are our rescued animals and animals that still need us. We save them from their fears and accept living in the fear to provide the best future for them.

Many people say that I am brave. Thank you for that  

I don't consider myself being brave, but I believe that my love can win everything and that my aim can protect me and my rescues.  

There is no justice in Bosnia and because of that we live in such "deformed" society, but dedication can do a lot and animals deserve our dedication.

Hi, Nelda here... I have tried to figure out just how much is needed each month to feed the animals and keep the pension running about 1500.00 euros.. that is a lot of money but if everyone would donate an amount  then her bills could be paid.. 

one bag of 10 kg food=5.5 euros
➡️daily need is 8 bags=44 euros
➡️pallet of 68 bags=374 euros - monthly need

then there is vet bills ?? and land payments about 500.00 euros every payment. light and water bills and garbage removal.. gas FOR CAR going back and forth...

the ANIMALS  really need your help - - - WILL YOU HELP.. PLEASE ANY AMOUNT IS NEEDED!!

When someone asks me why I am like this... 😔
I was almost killed when I was 14 years old, when the hunter shot at me and killed a stray dog in front of me.
I still feel consequences of that attack. First of all I will never forget the scream of the killed dog and the second thing is that I have been dealing with rage for 15 years. I have found an article from our newspaper that was about killing of the dog in front of my house and shooting at me.

Imagine that after 15 years I are still being chased because of my legal and rescues work and fighting against hunters, corrupted authorities and dog catchers.
I would like that people know this and understand this. Saving animals is about animals but rescuers as well because if we are chased for no reason, we can't focus on our work, don't to mention costs of dealing with idiotism and loosing nerves and health.
I have more than 100 rescued animals; I fight in every possible way against torturing and killing of animals in Bosnia and Herzegovina; I fight against corrupted authorities because I know that my experience and my knowledge can help animals and stop this horrors. Every saved life is worth.
Every country has its own problems and when I read your posts, my dear friends, I see how many problems you have in your countries, but believe me you are lucky to live somewhere else but not in Bosnia. You live in countries where law means law and where you can protect yourself. In my country, when you fight for the right thing, you are chased as a witch. There is very dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.
